About Texas General Hospital

Dr Victor Gonzalez performs the full spectrum of traditional General Surgery procedures. His Bariatric practice continues to offer patients the comprehensive program approach that was started in 1979 by the Center for Obesity Surgery Dallas. The new program, however, now offers several Bariatric procedures including the Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass, the Adjustable Gastric Band (LAP-BAND^® Surgery and Realize^® band), and the Sleeve Gastrectomy. All of these procedures can now be performed laparoscopically. Dr. Gonzalez remains in the forefront of bariatric specialties.
